While the other pieces of the program work, even with overriding the GateKeeper, I get the dreaded “File is damaged” when I open MacCleaner Pro. Am I missing something?

I tried this method with no avail.

File is read-only and cannot be copied in the Applications folder. Also, file name and extension didn’t match.

It does run without problems inside the disk image, though.

This error also occurs with version 2,6.

Main app becomes corrupt when you try copying it in the Application folder even with GateKeeper turned off, hence the “application can’t be opened because it’s damaged or incomplete” pop-up.

Versions prior to 2.6 and later are not affected by this issue.
