When I download Final Cut Pro it directs me to the Apple Store, I haven’t purchased Final Cut Pro so it doesn’t work. Does that happen to u 2 or earlier versions fix this problem?

Yeah me too, now that the latest requires Big Sur, if something happens to my Mac, I may not be able to download it if they remove the old releases.
But I have an advice : in Google type Final_Cut_Pro_10.5.4_MAS_[TNT].dmg (with double quotes if it can’t find anything) but replace the version number, then you will find older versions, because generally the file name structure is the same. And if you really need something older go to Macintosh Garden.

I downloaded this maybe 4 months ago. I have a 2019 MBP and had to download from one of the older versions. It’s still working and is no different than any other FCP torrent I downloaded in the past. My MB does get extremely hot when saving/exporting the file but other than that it works like it’s supposed to

and then drag the “final cut pro app” from your application folder to the Terminal window. It should give you the “path to the app”. So, for some of you who installed it in some other folder (which is not recommended and just plain dumb) you will still get the “path to app”.

I can only open it from the .dmg file and when it opens it says that I can’t create a library where I want to (I tried different locations). Any idea? The 10.4.3 version was so easy to install and it had a patch file (crack) which is no longer visible on this version. Any ideas @admin?
