hello, thanks for the upload.
after installation, when launching i got the following message: “after effects can’t continue: error while accessing the preference files inside “/users/x/library/preferences/adobe/after effects/18.4”, please verify the file permissions and try again.
installation went smooth. i’m on monterey, intel processor.
It couldn’t be installed on M1 Macbook air. I have tried all ways.

Yes, I have a working method to do this, however you might not prefer it.
You can either install it on another computer with intel/catalina and copy the files over, or do this one, which works a lot better, download an older version. I did this and I have all apps working on my M1 MacBook Pro running MacOS Monterey.

I try with macbook air M1 : it seems it doesn’t work. When I launched the Install file, it says : The installation cannot continue as the installer file may be damaged

same issue here…m1 users do not install…it says installation file is damaged…no fix worked no matter how many I tried
That’s just an error message caused by apple in order to avoid anything non “authentic” just search on youtube.com “bypass error message “installation file is damaged”, the first video must work without any problem.
